In my busy career as a New York plastic surgeon, I have performed more than fifteen thousand operations, including nearly four thousand face-lifts, and it is fair to say that I know skin inside and out. Through these years I have been consumed with the very basic problem of how to control facial aging. My interest has taken the form of studying the unfolding biochemical and genetic advances; devising effective, less-invasive surgical procedures; and conceiving the whole process of controlling facial aging as a series of related steps to reach a goal. Applied properly, these are initially small steps of self-help, augmented by bits of professional intervention as the years go on.

The decision to seek corrective measures to reverse signs of aging is a purely personal matter. Giving you an honest overview of what is possible is part of my mission. Through this platform, I will highlight a variety of concerns I see at my practice and options for how to correct them using surgery.
