How to look your best on a video chat

Whether it is a Zoom work call, Birthday party, or FaceTime/Houseparty Happy Hours you are probably finding yourself in front of the camera much more frequently. In addition to having to get it together from the stomach up, you are also staring at your reflection thinking about your best angle and counting the number of dark spots or wrinkles on your face. Don’t worry, this is completely normal and we are here to give you a few pointers to get you through your next call until you can come in for a little (or big) tweak.

  1. Don’t expect to look great…even if you look great in person, it isn’t going happen on Zoom.
  2. Always test out camera angle and lighting beforehand. Guaranteed hideous results come from a low camera angle with you looking down into it. Same for lighting. The best way to look like yourself is if camera is slightly above nose level and lighting is from a bit higher than the camera eye.
  3. We will be open soon! Whether you want to improve your eyes (uppers and lowers), tighten your skin, get rid of your jowls or turkey neck, get body Summer ready, blast away dark sports or just get back to your anti-aging treatment plan, we are reopening soon and looking forward to seeing all our patients. Please email info@drimber.com to inquire about appointments.

In addition to all the above, remember, whomever you are video-chatting with looks as weird as you do. Make the best of it and know that this will all end soon.
