How to treat the tear trough under the eye

Everyone has tear troughs, the hollow under the eye. With aging or with genetic makeup some of us have a much deeper hollow. This hollow makes us look dissipated or tired even when we aren’t enjoying it.

There are ways to improve the area so that your under eyes aren’t making you look like you’ve been burning the candle at both ends, when you aren’t.

  1. Filler
  2. For a more temporary solution, consider Filler. During this less invasive procedure, Dr. Imber injects small amounts of filler into the tear trough to improve the appearance of the under eye. It is also a great way to see what a more permanent solution would look like.

  3. Fat Transfer
  4. For a more permanent solution, Dr. Imber prefers Fat Transfer. During this surgical procedure, Dr. Imber uses your own fat as filler to deliver a natural look that is also more permanent than commercial filler.
